VINCI Facilities achieves MCS accreditation
Rueil-Malmaison - 8 January 2013
VINCI Facilities has added to its achievements the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation for Solar Photovoltaic services. The new accreditation confirms VINCI Facilities is in alignment with industry standards and committed to providing continually high levels of service.
MCS is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme that is supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. As part of the accreditation process, VINCI Facilities had their company design and installation processes assessed, as well as an onsite inspection of an installation to ensure it complied with MCS standards.
“It is fantastic to have achieved our MCS accreditation and it is certainly something to be proud of” commented Tony Raikes, Managing Director of VINCI Facilities. “This accreditation sets out our support for localised energy production. Potential projects can reinforce our engagement with individuals, neighbourhoods and communities to produce greener and cleaner energy – a further move to support local action.”
