Naming the last tunnel boring machine used to extend Line 14 of the Paris metro

It is the only machine on the entire Grand Paris Express programme to dig in Paris, creating a 4.5-km tunnel between L’Haÿ-les-Roses just south of Paris and the future Maison-Blanche station in the 13th arrondissement. Work began in July 2019. The remaining section of the tunnel, which stretches 140 m from Maison-Blanche to Line 14’s existing terminus at Olympiades, will be dug in the traditional way without a tunnel boring machine.

This project is being undertaken by a consortium led by VINCI Construction – made up of Dodin Campenon Bernard, VINCI Construction France, VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Botte Fondations – in association with Spie Batignolles GC.
